Given a side base design or even possibly a corner base, leaving a number of buildings placed away from the base, as in the picture, high HP buildings that would generate just under 50% completion if all were destroyed (recommended) and a group of heroes that reflect or rebound attacks i.e.- warlock, harpy queen, dread drake, etc.

This base however made me think, based on my "attack" strategy I am wondering if someone that has the heroes might test an idea. To protect the innocent I have removed the name but I enjoy 300+ points from 155k might players. As we said, many people have poor bases for GW. I am not sure why but Sunday's GW got me thinking. Good luck and can wait to read more theory. I wish I could see more of your work but sadly play on the Amazon server. How can I test myself against good players, even when they have horrid base designs, if I don't go for good players when I am at a lower level. (That opinion may change as I get higher and learn more.) But I am only hit players 100k might and above and prefer 130k might and above. But if you don't get 1000+ points you are not prepared. More because I am only 6 months in, I like test attacks just to lean more tactics but I do that in normal raids and expedition. There are plenty of ways to get around the issue of pop-in and take a look. However, based on some of the GW items I had seen discussed. I wish I had a bit more to contribute but until my buildings/TH are higher level it may not be as valuable. I look forward to more discussions on bases.

I have not really tried it with HBM above O simply due to time as I just sweep most of the time. Even so, my base fends off most players double my might to under 50%. As I get shards and increase their skills/talents (rolling 15k on new talents and getting 5/10 slow as my best is not as nice as I would hope.) that will change. I have mix of good heroes even though they are not yet as powerful as they could be. I am sitting a bit over 36k now with a TH at 17. To give you an idea, I bumped my might in an attempt to get a 6th hero base. I say weak only because of my current position.

I use what I consider a weak ablative base design. I have to say I truly enjoy reading your discussions.
